Hacienda Quitralco is located in the Patagonia region in the Quitralco Fjord. There are large stretches of native forest, over 16km of coastline, and over 20km of river frontage all with 3 hot springs and waterfalls lying within the Mallin River Valley. There are also large open plains and hills rising to 750 meters above sea level.
The property offers excellent fishing, hiking, rafting, and many more recreational activities.
The property is improved with a small farmhouse and additional farm outbuildings and corrals. The property can run cattle and horses and the area has a strong Gaucho tradition.
Access is a 30-minute plane ride from the Aysen airport to the airstrip on the property or an 8-hour boat ride from Puerto Aysen.

The Quitralco Fjord is a largely undiscovered region of Patagonia, Chile but is quickly becoming a tourist destination. There are several glacial cruises to the area. The area is home to many fjords and islands with great salt water and fresh water fishing. In fact, the Puerto Aysen area offers outstanding fishing trips. One will never tire of seeing all the flora and fauna including condors and eagles soaring over snow-capped peaks and crystal clear rivers and streams.The Aysen Region of Patagonia in Chile is an area of cultural crossover between Argentina and the Chiloe Archipelago. The area also still has a very strong Gaucho (cowboy) tradition and is a strong influence in the cuisine, dance, and music of the region. The Gauchos mainly raise cattle and sheep in the region and the Spanish dialect used is distinct from the Central Chile dialect.
The economy of the region is driven by, marine, forestry, and animal resources. The area is responsible for 80% of Chile's salmon harvest.
